so i have tried to unplug every thing with dsg and i still have the same erros in the abs pump

Hi, I think there may be something wrong with ignition mode ‘wated spark during cranking’. When I tried it, idle was very unstable, engine was misfiring and i saw large dwell errors. In sequential mode everything works fine.

Is it possible to add functionality to limit rpm vs time in the timers option? Looking to use this for a FWD car launching strategy.

Dear Jadzwin, do you think it will be possible for the future to use Vehicle/Powertrain CAN Information like TPS, IAT, CLT, Lambda target, Lambda, knock information as Inputs for EMU? At the moment it is not available in drop down menu. It will be easier to implement EMU in newer Vehicles without using seperate sensors.

Another question is, will it be possible to use emu as an can gateway or can this funcionality impelemented?

Acceleration enrichment needs a map correction table

Already exists?

Adding support for reading IAT, CLT from CAN is not an issue.

However in OEM streams I have never seen Lambda, lambda target, knock information, etc.

Yes, it is on the list but it will be added after official release in November

TPS is on VW CAN available. It would be great, if you will expand Signal Inputs from the available CAN Streams.

You´re right Ignition or Lambda is not on CAN Stream available, but it will be on OBD available.

I was having an issue with my car stalling sometimes when I open the throttle after coming to a stop. The car is an Audi TT with a DSG. I used closed loop idle control, PQ350 creep and AC idle increase with a max RPM of 950.

I worked out was was happening just recently.

Turns out the closed loop idle control was working fine, however what I didn’t realize is that the DBW characteristic for minimum throttle must be at least equal to or greater than the current TPS that closed loop is delivering to the throttle.

That way when you switch off closed loop by moving the pedal (PPS>0.2) the delivered TPS doesn’t drop below the closed loop TPS opening amount.

I don’t know if it would work, but having an option to have the DBW Characteristic be incorporated into minimum throttle might be useful. That way the characteristic table is only used to tune throttle opening aggressiveness. Something like TPS = last closed loop setting + DBW Characteristic.

There is a table called dbw blend point.

When you leave idle the throttle position is blended until value from characteristic is equal or greater to the blend point.

Hi. It would be great to be able to use the EGT2 input for something else, like a brake/clutch pedal switch. It would be a shame to waste it if I don’t plan on installing a second EGT sensor. And not everyone needs the flexfuel input, I would also like to have the option of using this input alternatively.

If it’s not too much trouble, please add the “AFR Target” parameter to the Logged parameters.

The Flex Fuel input and RS232 RX input can be already used for switches. The EGT can be much more complicated do its nature. There is a very high gain amplifier at the input and even small offset on the ground will make the readings fluctuate. I will make some test in the future to see if it is usable in real world application.

hi can we have a option to enable staged injection with function and control 4 individual injectors

Can we get back the Tableset indicator on the bottom off the software please?

Dear Jadzwin, my problem is on a 5cylinder engine and EMU as an Piggyback for additional fuel injection and boost control that there is no fuel injection on cylinder 1 and 2… You can see that in first step on CAN EGT 1 and 2 and in comparison to 3 -5 the temperature is way higher. And second step there is no output signmal for cylinder 1 and 2. Manually output test for these cylinder works. Back to back comparison with EMU V2 Firmware with the result that all injectors work as it has to be.

Please have a look to my log and software configuration.

Is it possible to create custom channels for the pressure sensors, like we can for temperature, or to modify some of the existing channels;

That seems to have solved most of my problem. I think the other issue I am having is due to brake sensor for the DSG. I am using a check valve on the booster, but I do not believe I have enough brake pressure whilst stationary to prevent the DSG sometimes beginning to engage the clutch.

I think the mapping in my DSG is set to tolerate RPM drop to around 600 rpm.

Is there a way to edit the max values on the Y axis at all? I know there is a X axis wizard but I don’t see one for Y axis even in the new V3 manual. I’m running Rife sensors on almost everything which have a much wider range. Specifically with the IAT and Coolant Pressure calibration. As you can see in the photo I’m not able to use 5 cells because the max value of the Y axis is 127C. With the Coolant pressure i have a 100 psi sensor installed which i probably should have gone down to 50psi but regardless the limit on the Y axis is 255KPA which as you see Im forced to put the closet value to the max pressure there.

I have tried using the calibration wizard but its way off in this situation and rather input the values myself.
