Do you have a vision to add a flag or warming if you hit any of your engine protection parameters and save/or mark it(for quicker review or diagnostics)? Along the same line maybe a long trim correction table for any of the fuel, ign, or boost table/settings?

Currently I’m using the “Test Output” function to chacterize some injectors on a very basic injector test setup. I’m fully aware this is not the intent of the “Test Output” function, but it is a helpfull tool if you don’t have a injector flow bench..

A small bug is present in the V3.057 software. When a cycle on time of 1ms is selected, it injects for 2ms. The cycle on time is working fine for 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 20ms. Below you can see the injector has a linear behaviour, except for the 1ms measurement which is identical to the 2ms.

I have a minor software improvement request for the “Test Output”:
1.Increase the number of injection cycles from MAX 100 to MAX 5000. When characterizing injectors at 2ms pulse width you need 2000cycles to have aprox 50cc of fuel. Now i’m running the test 20 times, which also works but requires the difficult task of counting to 20 :smile:

2.Decrease minimum cycle off time to 1ms. Currently it is set at 50ms which is equivalent to an engine running at 600rpm. This prevents me from characterizing injector dynamics at high duty cycle (closing dynamics of the injector).

I will be very greatfull to Jadzwin_ECUMASTER if there will be some improvment on test output strategy….Emu black on older fw´s also doing 2ms if you select 1ms…i found it months ago…also for dwell testing It would be great if you could enter numbers in decimals

The idea for output test was to test custome wiring harness :slight_smile:

I will take a look what can be done (for sure on time could be much more precise)

Can you simplify trigger offset setup like in pro software? So nomore first tooth number but only in degrees( like on any other ecu)

hi can you please add a function from DSG modes D and S and M > to the overrun perimeters disable switch . so that the overrun function can be used in different drive modes . unless you have a different way to do overrun by different drive modes . any input will be welcomed.

For testing harness it is enought but for testing HW it isnt…best will be to improve resolution of input numbers and maybe also setup for freqency and DC to be able to test solenoids ie. boost controll solenoid opening on different freq. etc

Can we have a 2d table for the afterstart ignition lock feature? When the engine is very cold (-10 degrees C) i need more time at same ign angle before idle ign control is allowed to engage. Otherwise it creates more harm than is usefull. When the engine is cold the ign pid is too aggressive, but it works perfect for when the engine is hot -and i want idle ign control to engage right after start on a warm engine. So a 2D table would help alot (Lock time vs CLT)

Now you can switch between 2 overrun settings. For example you can make one that will be active when S is selected, and second configuration for other modes. Just create function based on dsg.mode log channel

Im missing TPS/MAP rate of change settings to inhibit STT strategy on transients…something like EMU PRO use will be usefull to get working STT only on stady state trottle especialy on ITB setup

If there is any acc/decc correction the short term trim correction is locked until enrichment is finished + transient delay time (100ms by default)
