Hi im trying to setup my rev limiter by my taste but nothing seems to change the hysteresis of jumps by ignition cut.My limiter is like minigun. I have tried 50 rpm then 300 its all the same. I recon i can set it up by launch control but would like to have some opinion about this. I heard that V3 its simplified but how that theres no option to change and play about sound of ignition cut limiter?
on V2 limiter was much slower what i have liked.
We have had a lots of requests for very fast and flat rev limiter, so we change the rev limiter conception. The range is just for interpolation of the ignition angle, to make the rev limiter less abrupt and limit the torque before limit.
So theres no way to adjust it ? Or it will be implemented later ? Or theres a way to replace the limiter throught launch control and adjust the speed of it there ?
For the next build we will try to add some option to make it “slower” base on current strategy (as the primary goal is to have fast revlimit that is beneficial in motorsport).
Allright i think more people would agree the benefit of adjusting it in many ways. Complex settings. I agree with fast rev limiter my current car is a drift car so i see benefits but anyway i like it more slow its just a preference. Im realy happy with V3 car runs much better. So ill be happy to stand with this version and see upcoming features
This is the same issue I have discussed in another thread. I agree that this should be customizable by the user. The previous strategy was great. Personally I would take the previous strategy and just add a programmable cut start value.
