Are there any plans to add an integrated time based rev limiter function?
Currently it seems like the only way would be to make a PWM output table with a timer as a axis and send that to a physical PWM to 5v signal module (HT-038000 Analogue Output Adaptor) and then use that 5v signal to mimic a rotary switch input for the custom rev limit table.
For FWD cars it helps tremendously by not allowing the car to immediately hit max redline on a launch. By creating a progressively rising rev limit it allows for a better chance at grip at low speeds and less chance for causing a bog.
Maybe it is somehow not a huge endeavour to just be able to change the custom rev limit x axis from the rotary switch to one of the timers.
I’ve attached a screenshot from fuel tech showing this strategy.
Hello! I’m planing to buy a windows surface pro and use it as a full time logger in the vehicle. Could we please add in the future some more adjustments on gauges ? Let s say some sound warnings if a condition it s met. Thanks you !
This is very close, but as you can see from the screen shot it is beneficial for the ramp to be non linear and customizable for the car/engine combination.
Would be sweet if when opening a project the tabs config would save. I end up putting alot of time into the tabs and the layout and then if I restart the pc it’s all gone. It can be time consuming to re-setup all the tabs how I like them. Keep the updates coming love it!
