New software 3.054 is available!

Im not sure what you mean. When i open empty desktop, click on any map/setting in tree, its open it in desktop. Then i click on another random map/seetings from tree, also opens at desktop. Then i move second one over first on desktop, and when i click on bottom(first) one in a tree, i will not step up/higlights over at desktop…the first one is still hidden under the second. Sorry for a complicated explanation.

Spotted issue with activating ALS, in few occasion it activates, but spark advance is not retarded only spark cut work.

Enclosing datalog, its on very end , 23:20

als.emublog3 (2.2 MB)

I aslo found randomly idle control is not activated, it stay in armed condition, but all tresholds for control are met.

In both situation taping again on throttle fix it.

But its on car with idle valve, als bypass valve, cyclic idle activated ect..

Hello,
I find that problem is only when minimum value is higher number then maximum value in channel setting.

I’ve checked on the simulator and the trigger 18-1-18-1 works correct.

If you still have problem, please open new topic and we wil look for solution.

Can you publish your IDLE and ALS seetings.

Do you have a log with erratic idle behaviour ?

That was in version 3.054a scroll bit down there is link for 3.054b where that issue with windows is solved.

Pit Limiter - DBW limit appears to be showing KMH not DBW/Throttle %

Also a spelling mistake in the help section for this table. “DWB”

Ok great! This is my latest log from yesterdays test with 3.054. It seams that the rev limiter still goes in at 15000-200 RPM control range even with all rev limiters adjusted to 15500 RPM.

I saw that you have released 3.055 i will update and test that next time.

Hi everyone!

I have a 2003 ZX-12R with a trigger wheel that has 8 teeth (without any missing teeth).
I upgraded the software to v3, but I still haven’t managed to start the engine because I’m getting a lot of spikes in the synchronization.
I did manage to set the ignition at 10° BTDC.

Now I’m reading all of this and I’m confused — is my multitooth setup incorrect?

It is very simple trigger. What do you use for synchronisation with the tdc ?

If you send a scope from black it will be easier to advice.

Hi Jadzwin,

Thank you for your message. I’m using a cam sync. Attached my triggers and a scope.

Because i cant upload something yet please find a link to gdrive. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1abrGJl82T6rD68sEQLgq3NTKY8W3zAT2?usp=drive_link

Thank you in advance.

Any help will be appreciated, i have been stacked for days unable to start the bike.

If you look at the scope you see lots of noise.

You should have only 8 evenly spaced lines (on cranking the distance between lines will vary due to compression).

Make sure your shield for the signal is properly grounded.

Try to set the VR sensor like that:

I believe i did a lot of improvement today but still my signal to the primary trigger it’s not equal everywhere!

For cranking it looks very good.

So you think I don’t need to change edge or something else to make the brakes more even between them ? The same bike one year later has been produced with 24-1 trigger wheel and the mod it’s plug and play, Maybe this is a better trigger type from multitooth?

Thank you again!

Imo it would definately be beneficial to use a 24-1T setup. will have improved resolution and accuracy.

during cranking angular velocity of the crankshaft vary a lot (especially for high compression engines). When you start the engine it will be even.

24-1 is always better than 8 multitooth
