I’d like to suggest adding a boost target correction table that can be directly controlled by a rotary switch input.
This would make it much easier to set up proper drive modes (rain, gravel, street, race, etc.) where boost is smoothly reduced based on grip conditions, instead of using workarounds.
It would help make high-power cars safer and more driveable in low traction situations.
From idle to starting moving, the idle air DBW blends properly, but after the blending is complete, the idle ignition suddenly jumps to the main ignition map. Can you also blend the ignition during this period ?
You can choose Tables switch mode → Blend tables → Rotary switch#.
But useful would be adding source of blending also from TC Torque reduction or TC dRPM.
This option is used buy Fuel flex. I know it can be done other way, VSS or Gear correction option, but what to do if you need to use that too….
Use custom correction and choose for axis analog in used by rotary switch.
Just to clarify. Instead of RPM you want to have a speed (driven / undriven) for each gear when the shift should occur ?
I add it for the next build
I try to add it for the next build
I see your point. I added this problem to the bug tracker and I will try to find solution.
Yes, exactly. But to be configurable to switch between speed/rpm would be the best imo for dq250/dq500 ![]()
I assume you need this to prevent gear shift during wheel spin ?
Yes, for example when car is FWD with big power and bad prep track control of shifting is hard, and for DQ500 it will be good too when having swaps
Found something with Traction control which wasn’t this way in a few versions back.
Traction control only works when both User Slip and User Torque Adjust Rotary Switch are set to rotary Switch, If only User Torque Adjust is selected and the User Slip is set to no blend the TC remains inactive.
This setting remains inactive
This setting remains active
Log to show the Rotary Switch 1 cycling through the positions but at the bottom the state field remains inactive - Part way through the log I change the Settings as per above to get the TC active and the TC User Rotary Pos working correctly.
Has the CAN communication with the 1.8t PNP been resolved yet? namely the illumination of the check engine light.
I found a strange issue with the oil pressure sensor. The ECU gets voltage from the CAN bus. The log shows the correct voltage, but the pressure sensor reading is always 0 (failsafe value).
There should be no issue check engine for PQ35 / VW can stream.
Could you give more details ? Is the check engine detected by EMU ?
I will check it today.
Here is updated firmware 3.063 with fixed Oil pressure and CAN inputs > 8 and Traction control Adjust pot rotary switch issue.
I’ll give it another test and report back
