Version 3.062 BETA

I cannot reproduce this issue.

Could you please provide me log file and settings that you set after pressing export icon ?

I will increase the prime pulse time range.

What you can do is to increase the cranking fuel in first engine cycle.

Also in the latest version there is an option to pulse all injectors during cranking. It can help.

It is doable. The obly thing that is complicated from the logical point of view are axes definition, in the case the definition is shared by different tables outside the loaded scope.

Hi,

Ok. Yes

Is there another way to do it ? Make a import package and when importing give warning about axis that gone be changed?

When you do a lot of the same modifications

Like 8hp implementation or a specific setup or DSG conversion there are a lot of maps I need to fill and modify. Doing this over and over is taking a lot of time.

We can save only 1 setting a the time. Like ve map 1 or what ever, that’s not very helpful.

If we can save multiple settings at once that would be faster.

I will do something useful for that.

Can you explain why active state airflow table not used by idle system ? it is using almost % 10 percent higher value and pid drops it to closer values to table values. Is it a bug or tuning related problem ?

Active Idle Airflow % is the percentage of DBW target that will result in a % of DBW opening.

0% in the Airflow % table will be the the DBW target min which is set to value 2 in the Actuator table

and 100% will output the DBW target max which is 10. ANything inbetween will be interpolated.

The 13% that you have configured for the Idle looks to be a bit to much because the Idle strategy is trying to reduce your Idle to he target rpm. (it retards the ignition and also the Airflow PID is negaitve)

This is also what I thought but the idle air pid makes a –7.44% correction and the active air is 10.5%, so the table value should be 18%, but the real value from the table is 13.5%

In alpha-n by changing tps axis brake points ve numbers do not interpolate.

Could you please publish this log file ?

I’ve just tested and all reinterpolates properly.

There is a common mechanism for reinterpolation, so if there is an issue it shouldn’t work on any table.

Ignition table is not

Another potential bug/issue in 3.062:
The axis of the Acceleration - Enrichment correction table don’t change when the Acc. enrichment type is changed. They do (change correctly) on the primary enrichment table. I assume the correction table uses whatever method you don’t use as the type?

Cheers.

Good to know, me too waiting map import function from different project.

here’s the sequence of events.

select range of data for export to Exel

3.054 correctly prompts for CSV filename, but when click OK get BugTrap alert

Nevermind - the answer was in front of me the whole time…Change the values for ‘Corr X axis’, and ‘Corr Y axis’ for secondary acc enrich correction.

I cannot reproduce it :frowning: Could you please send me a bugtrap report file for 3.062 ?

I found the issue. If you export selected area of log and the selection is smaller than 200 samples it crashes. So you need to export all log or make the selection larger.

I already fixed it, and it will be published in 3.063
