Version 3.062 BETA

I tried selecting a larger data set and it works. Thanks for the work-around and the fix.

I was selecting data from WOT pulls, so they tended to be short duration. Thanks for solving this.

solved

thanks it works

@Jadzwin_ECUMASTER

hi. so late last year you had fixed it in Overrun in ver 3.060 (Spark cut issue fixed (when overrun was blocked by blip). )
the spark cut i have now tested it as i have been busy lately . on the dsg with overrun active the car cuts out completely when the overrun spark is set to any value above 0 .
here is the log and the current file at the time .
3.062 new 22.12.25 new setup new loom 4bar over run cut off.emub3 (73.3 KB)
20260127_1842 cut out.emublog3 (2.2 MB).

hi all .
so after i changed from a internal map sensor to extranl map sensor on the manifold.
when i use a 0 to 3 bar sensor all works well when change it to a 0 to 4 bar sensor unfortunately i can not get the pops and bang / bubbling to work .

i am but lost in terms of the settings to make the over run work with a 4 bar sensor or the firmware has a issues

when using a 3 bar map sensor the min map value can go to a min of 21 kpa on decel and all works well
when using a 4bar map sensor the min map value can go to a min of 31 kpa on decel and dose not work
20260127_1949 check pops not working with 4 bar.emublog3 (2.5 MB)

looking for any solutions attached is the files

Hello. First post here and I hope i’m in the right topic.

I’ve got an Abarth 500 with one of the EMU Black PnP adapters installed. Had it all running and behaving on 2.175 but wanted to try the improved idle and overrun V3 offers. So far so good. Starting, idle and overrun seem massively improved but I cannot seem to work out how to set my DBW check to work with the OEM inverted check voltage input on the TPS like it was using in the older firmware.

It keeps setting a stuck throttle fuel cut at higher pedal positions but I cannot figure out how to replicate the working set up i have for V2.175

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Log and project available from attached dropbox link as I can’t attach directly yet.

dropbox

Hello! Can I ask how this rev limiter working now? There is no Hard cut if spark cut metod selected? Cut % Still sits on 38%? Is there some option for setup?

If you have stuck throttle fuel cut it is a different strategy than DBW error.

Could you post a log file with the issue ?

There is no option to make hard spark cut rev limiter. Now there is a strategy that makes maximum fast and stable rev limiter.

Can’t upload directly as I’m a new user.

Does this new DropBox link work? There should be 2 calibration files and 2 logs

Check you brake pedal switch config. When you activates the stuck throttle strategy and you press the break pedal when the throttle is open (in your config TPS > 30%) then the stuck throttle strategy is activate.

In your log the brake switch is active with the open throttle.

its very nice…but what about those people who want big flames on their drift cars? i think there should be option for rought limiter

Got it in one! :+1:

Thank you so much @Jadzwin_ECUMASTER that’s been bugging me for days

I plan to add fuel enrichment for revlimiter.

So when you retard the ighition a lot and add more fuel it should give nice pop and bangs and flames

Sounds good. Wold be perfekt if its switchable. Could be better for some reasons….

Possible issue with DBW Blend.
Help menu says:

This table defines how the blending occurs between the DBW Characteristic 1 and DBW Characteristic 2 tables when using a rotary switch.
100 means that the value is taken from the DBW Characteristic 2 table, 0 means that the value is taken from the DBW Characteristic 1 table.
DBW Target = (DBWCharacteristic1 x blend + DBWCharacteristic2 x (100 - blend)) / 100

But I have found that 100% is actually taking the values from DBW1 and 0% is from DBW2.
In the screenshot below I have put 100% TPS to 50% DBW to test. Can see the values in the graph vs blend% at the bottom.

DBW Error.emublog3 (36.1 KB)

so in my setup . i found the easiest way to switch it by FN function switch . unless you have a rotary switch .
or you need to set it up like this
image|465x429

Rotary switch. All ten positions are correctly set up as you can see at the bottom of the screenshot as I cycle through the positions and blend % changes correctly.

What I am highlighting is that the function used for the blend is being taken from the incorrect table. The opposite of what is written in the documentation.

According the help it works like this:

100% means DBW 1 characteristic, 0% means DBW 2 characteristic

Correct, that is the same information I have copied… however it doesn’t work that way in operation.

The quote you have stated doesn’t match the screenshot you have put in the thread…

See the screenshot above: 0% blend but the 100% throttle is being taken from DBW2 as DBW1 is set to 50% to prove this point.

I am just pointing out that there is an issue with either the help menu or the software as logic is backwards.

on my car set up with function to change dbw table . when function is not active it runs from table 2 instead of table 1
